Deb Osborn is an Assistant Professor in the Educational Psychology and Learning Systems department at the Florida State University. She is a Fellow and President-elect of the National Career Development Association. She received her PhD in Combined Counseling Psychology and School Psychology from Florida State University in 1998. Dr. Osborn is passionate about teaching career development, and is the author of Teaching Career Development: A Primer for Instructors and Presenters (2008). She also was the guest editor of a special issue of the Career Development and Adult Planning Journal, entitled The Education of Career Development Practitioners (2009). She is also a co-author of Using Assessment Results for Career Development (in press) and The Internet: A Tool for Career Planning (2011). She has made over 40 national presentations, most recently focusing on the integration of technology and teaching.

Deb became the official NCDA President on October 1, 2011!
