    What is Calm Clarity?

Due Quach (pronounced "Zway Kwok")  was selected to be our Keynote speaker because of her experience as a first-generation student at an elite college. She underwent trauma and isolation while at Harvard. Yet, she defied the odds with a career in Finance. She walked away to study mindfulness abroad and create Calm Clarity. Her Non-Profit Calm Clarity helps youth in Philadelphia learn to thrive despite their odds, and her Brain 3.0 model assists clients in moving from Brain 1.0Inner Godzilla, through Brian 2.0Teen Wolfto Brain 3.0Inner Sage.

We welcome those who work with first-generation students, immigrants, and refugees, as well as those working with professionals considering a career transition or struggling with career advancement, to join us. Her 2-hour presentation will involve hands-on practice of the Brain 3.0 technique.

    Speaker Line-Up

    Kitti Murray

Founder Refuge Coffee a Workforce Development Non-Profit

Kitti Murray and her husband Bill (or Kiki and Chief to their growing tribe of adorable grandkids) live on the edge of Atlanta in a refugee community that has been called the most diverse square mile in the country. This has been the most intense and inviting neighborhood in their experience, and it has taught them to dream big and love even bigger. One expression of that love has been Refuge Coffee Co., a non-profit Kitti founded as a way to join hands with neighbors near and far to create opportunity and true refuge through coffee and community service.

Refuge has been featured on CNN, NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, Senator Bill Bradley’s radio show, American Voices, Food & Wine magazine, NPR’s The Salt, and The Kelly Clarkson Show. Kitti has spoken about Refuge at Creative Mornings, the Q Commons, Leadercast Women, Google Atlanta, the Center for Civil and Human Rights, and at other venues where people come to hear stories about justice and mercy.
