There was so much enthusiasm and interest generated at the 2024 GCDA Spring Mini Conference with Dr. Linda Hoopes speaking on Resilience and her book Prosilience. The GCDA book group, the Reading and Resource Hub, has been reading Dr. Hoopes’ book Prosilience this year. The book and the workbook have produced some lively discussions in our meetings.  

In April we discussed the different types of Energy. There are four types of energy: 

·      Physical 
·      Mental 
·      Emotional
·      Spiritual

By understanding how Energy assists us in dealing with the trials and tribulations of life, we can help our clients build and more effectively use their Energy to navigate through finding their perfect career.

On Friday, May 16th Dr. Linda Hoopes will be joining our book group meeting at noon. This is an opportunity to talk with Dr. Hoopes and hear her extensive knowledge of resilience. We know that building resilience in ourselves and our clients adds to being successful in life and careers.
